Overview

Ellisys USB Explorer 260은 USB 트래픽 모니터링, 드라이버 및 소프트웨어 스택 디버깅, 프로토콜 컴플라이언스 검증 및 성능 분석을 위한 정교한 프로토콜 테스트 시스템입니다. EX260은 문제를 조기에 발견하고 디버깅을 보다 효율적으로 수행함으로써 R&D 개발 시간을 단축할 수 있으며, 규격 준수를 검증하여 품질과 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있습니다.

Multifunction USB Explorer 260은  다음의 기능을 수행할 수 있습니다.

  • - USB1.1, 2.0 모든 speed에 대해서 OTG, interchip-USB를 포함한 전압, 속도를 측정합니다.
  • - USB Host 및 Device에 대한 emulate를 지원합니다.
  • - Stress 및 error recovery test 를 위해 미리 정의된 오류 패턴을 주입하고 USB 및 클래스 사양에 대한 준수 여부를 자동으로 확인합니다.
  • - Ellisys USB Explorer 260 HW는 옵션 구성에 따라 protocol analyzer 또는 packet generator 로 사용하실 수 있으며 Duo 옵션시 한 장비내에서 두가지 기능을 호환하여 사용이 가능합니다.

Configurations

Ellisys USB Explorer 260 Analyzer에는 실시간 모니터링, hard-disk data streaming, in-depth class decoding, comprehensive traffic statistics, 강력한 트리거링 및 필터링 기능을 갖춘 Elisys의 광범위한 분석 기능이 포함되어 있습니다.

USB Explorer 260 Analyzer는 validating device enumeration, 통신 문제 해결, 상호 운용성 문제 감지 및 성능 최적화에 대해 잘 검증된 Ellisys의  USB 분석 소프트웨어를 기반으로 합니다.

The Ellisys USB Explorer 260 Generator complements protocol analysis by emulating USB devices and hosts, and by testing corner cases and recovery mechanisms. Reproducible traffic, timing and error scenarios can be created with a powerful scripting environment. Captured traffic can be replayed to test a particular situation. The Generator supports the industry's first Inline Error Injection feature to insert programmed errors between a host and device to determine the impact of transmission errors under rare conditions.

The Generator also includes the Ellisys USB Device Examiner Automated Pre-Compliance Testing software. This software controls a generator and an optional analyzer to automatically verify the compliance of devices against the USB specification and classes specifications such as HID and Mass Storage. See brochure »

The Ellisys USB Explorer 260 Duo is a flexible bundle of two full-featured units that can be used as one analyzer and one generator, two analyzers or two generators depending on your testing requirements. More convenient than having both functions on the same unit, this allows you to better share your test equipment among your R&D team

Typical Analysis Setup

The USB Explorer 260 Analyzer is connected in pass-through mode and records any traffic exchanged between a USB host and device. The host can be a PC, an embedded host or a USB Explorer 260 Generator.

Inline Error Injection Setup

A USB Explorer 260 Generator and USB Explorer 260 Analyzer are connected in pass-through mode between a USB host and device. The generator injects programmed errors on the link while the analyzer non-intrusively records any traffic exchanged between the host and the device.
